Arkansas Specialty Hand & Upper Extremity Center

The Arkansas Specialty Hand & Upper Extremity Center serves patients with upper extremity injuries from the elbow to the hand. Typical diagnoses include traumatic injuries such as fractures and lacerated tendons, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and other cumulative stress injuries, congenital deformities and neurological and arthritic conditions.

The Hand & Upper Extremity team consists of hand surgeons, occupational
therapists, and technical assistants. The occupational therapists have specialized training in the treatment of upper extremity injuries and are members of the American Society of Hand Therapists. The therapy team works closely with the referring physician to assure each patient reaches the maximum level of recovery with individualized treatment and home exercise programs.
